Anna Paquin is one of my favourite actresses. She was fantastic in the Piano and True blood series... Unfortunately, she usually doesn't look favourably on photos from the red carpet. She's got her own style, but sometimes it doesn't suit her.

As Paquin is a big fan of Alexander McQueen, she decided on dress signed by him. She chose a richly embellished dress. The phenomenal neckline attracted the whole attention. Anna did well to abandon additional jewellery or exaggerated hair style.

The only thing that I don't like in her stylization, is the fact that Anna looked like a small ball... How come? She is a shapely girl with good body proportions, isn't she? Maybe the platforms ad weight to her silhouette? Or maybe it's the cut that doesn't favour her silhouette...?

If I were her, I'd choose gladiator sandals on very high heels, with black platform and golden adornments... I'd definitely avoid closed shoes...

Still, I do love her bracelets. They ad glamour to the dress and suit it's uneasy style. Just to warn you, I ad I close-up of black nails. Together with black dress they look awfully unnatural...
