Target Kaleidoscopic Fashion Event was held in New York in August. It's hard to chose a perfect stylization for such an event. On the one hand, there is a red carpet where celebrities fight for media attention, however, it's so casual that an evening dress is out of discussion. One may always choose a cocktail dress, but they are so boring!

In my opinion, Olivia Palermo found a perfect way out. By the way, she also inspired non-celebrities how to dress for events that are not so big.

Olivia chose a white jabot shirt, striped smart jacket and shorts made of black leather.

It's a shame that we don't have a picture showing her shoes. Surely, most of you bet on heels. Well, no! Olivia was wearing burgundy ballerinas made of satin. Their toes were adorned with a bow in perfect shape and size.

I think, that nubuck or suede ballerinas would be also good, yet the fact that Olivia decided to breach the monochromatic style of her stylization deserves recognition.
