Are crakow shoes returning to favour?

Does somebody still remember these times, when women wore shoes with lengthy toes?
One of principles of the fashion sounds : If Alexa Chung wears something, it means that it's trendiest at the moment. Alexa dresses herself brilliantly. She's got great style and taste. She always selects elements this way, so that everything enraptures, attracts attention, but it doesn't quarrel with each other.
She's superior to other women in that the designers know her excellent stylistic sense. They know that whatever they give to her, she'll always invent a perfect stylistic set for it. One which will inspire, will appeal to others, won't look as if taken directly from the runways, but will look fresh! And additionally, it will show given clothes in most favourable light.
To the show Chloe Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011, Alexa chose Valentino's pointed toe shoes. Does it mean that pointed toes will back to fashion?
If they will, I only hope that pointed toe shoes wont look like crackow shoes, with toes so long that it would be hard to walk in them.
