Victoria's Secret fashion show

It was a very hot weekend thanks to the display of the newest collection of Victoria's Secret underwear.

Frankly speaking, Victoria's Secret 2010 fashion show proposed nothing new, it wasn't surprising, shocking or searching for new solutions. In fact it's hardly possible to call presented motives, themes, dresses and shoes earth breaking. Neither innovative...

Nevertheless, the display was a wonderful show, and presented underwear was once again an object of desire for every woman. Victoria's Secret display is simply a splendid fun and enrapturing fairy-tale with models who were smiling for the first time from ages.

I present some most important motives from Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was held on November 11th in New York.

So sweet to be a girl

PINK collection by VS. With Behati Prinsloo as the main model, who opened this part of the show wearing the most colourful socks of the season. The sweetest complet was the one presented by Lindsey Ellingson. It was pink with black spots and looked as if parts were in different sizes. It was completed with already mentioned, colourful socks, woollen sweater and heeled boots in Wellington style. Mind the fabulous bracelets!

Straight from heaven

During the "angel's" part, Akon's song Angel in the Heavenly Bodies was played. Chanel Iman as the Victoria's Secret angel, looked indeed heavenly. She was wearing the most beautiful set - adorned with amazing jewellery.

Adriana Lima accompanied Chanel in a 2 million dollars Fantasy Bra and encrusted panties...

Tough Love

Adriana Lima, who was absent during last year's show, opened this year's Tough Love display.

The line was full of most seductive embodiments of corselettes, garters and most various accessories. Thing that should not escape the attention, are ''corset" lined boots with characteristic lacing, worn by less known Victoria's Secret model - Lais Ribeiro.

Country style

Check, jeans and laces are most easily associated with country style. The country and western Girl theme should however be associated with Huntington Dew, who opened this part of the show, covered with check in the colour of jeans. Still, Candice Swanepoel presented herself far more strikingly in the red, short, seductive dress (keep an eye on meticulously selected details) and interesting boots with cuffs.

Sport's so sexy

Presentation of "Sports" sets was a sensational part of the display. It was opened by unique Erin Heatherton dressed in boxing style. Ace behind her, waving Formula 1 flag, strode Karolina Kurkova dressed in one-piece jumpsuit and loudly orange bra, and also Isabela Fontana with barbells dressed in the silver-purple set with a metallic sheen. On the occasion of approaching Euro 2010, I recommend the underwear and the waistcoat presented by Behanti Prinsloo. They should effectively pull the guy away from the TV set even during the game.

Wild nature

I get the impression, that Victoria's Secret show wouldn't be complete without a leopard print or a snake skin. VS designs often refer to the nature and women's wildest roots. There must be something in it, yet neither the leopard print nor peacock feathers attached to the Victoria's Secret underwear appealed to me.
